On the 31st of December 2019 Ireland lost an important voice. Shane Griffin was a businessman, a young father and a tireless advocate for people who had experienced trauma within the Care system. Shane worked hard for Care Leavers, not just in Ireland but across Europe. He was a truly remarkable man with a HUGE heart. Linda is joined this week by Shane’s sister Ciara Griffin,who talks about her little brother, how they came to be in care, and about how he turned from a troubled youth, into a resounding voice, in order to stop what had happened to him happening to anybody else.
