Filmmaker and newly appointed Centrist Dad*, Luke McManus, rejoins us to discuss his latest doc, The Locals, which goes out on RTE 1 this Monday at 9:35pm and then on the RTE Player.
Luke follows the candidates for the Local Elections in Dublin’s North Inner City in what was a campaign featuring a vast spectrum of political and social views across a part of the city that has great poverty and plenty of privilege. In this chat we dig into some of the details and some of the things that ended up not going into the final film.
