It was a pleasure to be joined on the tortoise shack by the Chairperson of the Mica Action Group, himself an affected homeowner, Eamonn Jackson, to discuss the campaign seeking 100% redress for the thousands of families impacted by this latest building standards scandal.
Eamonn outlines the seriousness of the issue that has been happening since at least the early 2000’s, and has continued up until recently. He speaks about the failure of the State to implement supervision of the blocks and how a 2010 change in the regulations changed nothing in real terms.
