It was a pleasure to be joined by Assoc Professor in UCD and member of the Independent Scientific Advocacy Group, Julien Mercille, to discuss the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic and that groups plan that if implemented could help to make this lockdown our last. We talk about how it can be achieved, the border as a blocker and the need for political action to move beyond the living with the virus strategy and a genuine pursuit of Zero Covid. Julien also outlines the costs of doing Covid on the cheap and gives examples of places that have successfully done what we’ve been told is impossible. It can be done.
