It was great to catch up with Prof Joe Haslam in Madrid to discuss the recent elections in Catalonia, what that means for the Independence movement and the issues around free speech that have surfaced over the arrest of the rapper Pablo Hasél. We also talk about the underlying inequality and how this is the real driver of social unrest, even if it is been weaponised by some on the political extremes.
