Dr O Sullivan outlines how young people are at risk of suffering psychological consequences and why we need to consider the long-term impact of this. She explains the adverse mental health impacts, such as social isolation, depression, anxiety and particularly on vulnerable groups such as children with Autism. Katriona highlights that there needs to be greater focus on care and wellbeing and a wellbeing plan along side a public health and economic plan.
