The New Public Housing Conference took place in Maynooth University on Wednesday, February 27th and we were lucky enough to be able to record throughout the day. Organised by our very own Rory Hearne, the day brought together academics, activists, stakeholders and politicians to discuss real solutions to the housing crisis. The first of these short talks that we are posting today is with Professor Emeritus of Economics, TCD (and more importantly Tortoise Shack Alumni) PJ Drudy. PJ has a distinguished career, including stints in Cambridge University and NUIG and as you will hear from the outset, he taught them all, for better and for worse. This is a 15 minute gem with a national treasure.
