Malaysia has always been supportive of Palestine and it was the first country to support South Africa’s ICJ case against Israel. Malaysia’s colonial history reminds us of why they stand by and with Palestine. In fact recently, Malaysian Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim, banned the Israeli ZIM shipping company from docking in Malaysian ports. Yousef Aljamal, Helena Cobban and Tony Groves are joined by a very special guest, Norma Hashim who is the founder of the Hashim Sani Center for Palestine Studies, to talk about Malaysia and Palestine, including sharing personal stories of Refaat Alareer and Raed Qadoura who she also knew in person.
