In this Reboot Republic Podcast, Rory and Tony talk to Professor Shane Darcy, Deputy Director of the Irish Centre for Human Rights in the School of Law at NUI Galway. Professor Darcy provides an overview of international humanitarian law including the International Criminal Court, and how Ireland could be doing more to pressure Israel to stop its war crimes against the people in Gaza, such as bringing Israel to the International Court of Justice in relation to crimes of genocide. Prof Darcy researches the fields of international humanitarian law, international criminal law, business and human rights and is author of a number of books including Judges, Law and War: The Judicial Development of International Humanitarian Law.
