Ep.457 – A Politics That Looks The People with Cllr Uruemu Adejinmi.

It was great to be joined in the tortoise shack by Fianna Fáil Cllr for Longford, Uruemu Adejinmi. We talked about her journey into politics and why she felt so passionate about the need to get into public service.

We talk about the need for our politics to resemble the society that elects it and why that diversity is key to inclusiveness. Uruemu discusses the ways diversity enhances our society and why equality of opportunity isn’t real unless it’s available to all communities. This is a energetic conversation with a dedicated mother and local Cllr.

The Tortoise Shack has grown a lot this last 12mths. We remain ad and sponsor free. Please help us stay independent by joining us at: patreon.com/tortoiseshack
