December 1st is World Aids Day, and in honour of this I’m joined by an amazing panel of researchers and activists to discuss HIV and AIDS. Robbie Lawlor, Thomas Strong, and Elena Vaughan share their experiences of researching HIV, being HIV positive, and medication. They explain how the media frames HIV, and how stigma is more damaging than HIV nowadays. HIV is no longer what it was, and if you are on effective medication, you cannot pass on HIV (undetectable equals untransmissable).
