It’s #intersexawarenessday and intersex people make up almost 2% of the worlds’ population. This week, intersex activist Diana James and researcher Dr. Tanya Ní Mhuirthile are here to explain what its like to be intersex, as an identity but also when it comes to accessing health care or the legal system. This is a hard listen with some mention of sexual assault, but we need to learn more about this so we can support people around the world.
