Policed: The Beat – YARI

In this episode of Policed: The Beat Vicky chatted to Haritha Olaganathan of Youths Against Racism and Inequality (YARI). Following the shooting of George Nkencho YARI conducted a survey of young people’s experiences of racism and policing. We had an amazing conversation about the alarming findings of that survey, the structural context of police racism, the role of youth activism, and whether police reform can work in a carceral state. Not to be missed!
